To shine a light on the profile and standing of women in our global community and make the world a better place, especially for all women, one act of consideration at a time.

The Concise Oxford Dictionary sixth edition defines:

  • Treat v. & n. 1 v.t. Act towards, behave to. 2. Deal with or act upon (person, thing) with view to obtaining particular result, apply process to, subject to.
  • Woman (woo’-) n. (pl. women pr. wi’min), & v.t. 1. N. Adult human female. 2. The female sex.
  • Right (rit) a. 3. (Of conduct etc.) just, morally good, required by equity or duty, proper. 4. Correct, true.  n. 1. What is just fair treatment.

Advancing Our Emotional Intelligence

According to Our World in Data – Gender Ratio, the sex ratio – the share of the population that is female – varies across the world. And globally in 2020, the share of women in the world was just under 50%.

It’s 2023. As a species, Homo sapiens have made significant technological advances in the last 200 years, but we have a long, long way to go to advance our emotional intelligence and to routinely and without exception, Treat Women Right.

Treat Women Right was established in Brisbane, Australia, in 2020, in response to the ongoing and unacceptable treatment of women in our houses, in our streets, in our communities, in our places of work, in our states, in our countries and in our world.
